I tried your game on TS4 with yours specs but was unable to get the funny results expected
( ie nothing abnormal occured to me).
However I have several workarounds:
Unplug the computer
or press reset button
or hit CTRL ALT DEL twice.
or hammer on the motherboard - risky however-
