The Fed's job is neither to love or hate the stock market. It's role is the
preservation of the currency, providing liquidity and maintaining stability
in the financial markets. With almost 9 years of economic expansion in
progress, I think it's hard to find many people who will say that the Fed
hasn't done a good job.
