How to change analysis templates?

TS version 4.21. Question about Saving analysis templates, and Assigning
Analysis templates.

I have analysis templates that I want to change without assigning  new
names to them. I see no way to either change the name of an analysis
template or even delete it so that the name can be used again. I am
gathering a list of unused template names that are all similar as I make
changes to my templates and then have to save them with new names.

Is there any way around this?
