The UpTick Rule governing Short Sales is NOT a positive idea.
{ Understand it was introduced by Joseph Kennedy, after he had made a lot of
loot, Bombing the market, himself, with short sales. [ another case of the
fox looking after the chickens.] }
It is time to scrap this unhelpful out-dated rule.
Today's electronic trade makes it easy for anyone to put in a 100 Share
UPTICK to enable their ensuing short-sale.
