Most of the load is, I suspect, not in polling of the Server (which, I
believe, Omega says they are not doing), but in some clumsy handling of
the DDE link between the Server and the charting module. IF I remember
correctly, I believe that utilization increases substantially when
charting is started. (But you may need to use PERFMON, rather than Task
Manager, to see this.)
