You know its is probably all the magic you need. By that I mean the discipline to trade a system would out way the system itself. People like to make things complicated when a simple moving average will work. Would anybody have the discipline to trade a system any system through a 50% draw down and whip saws? Probably not, even though we all can see from this screen that it would work. When I tested a lot of systems over a period of a few months I discovered that a 25% draw down was most profitable. Can I do it? No! This is why people like to diversify. It makes them comfortable. I have gotten over that hurdle by taking out large positions rather than buying everything that I see that I like.
