I don't know about ICE2.61 as I do not use it; but I do recommend two things you should get straight away - in fact, I kick myself for not having done so earlier.
Here they are: first one, Roy Larsen's "MetaStock Tips & Tools" newsletter, which is a goldmine of information, and where you'll learn more about MS than anywhere else (website: www.metastocktips.co.nz ).
Also, I suggest that you purchase TradeSim for backtesting strategies, which is much better than the Enhanced System Tester; I recommend the professional edition. It takes a bit of fiddling about until you get it right, but it is worth buying; visit www.compuvision.com.au.
Also, depending on what type of trader you are, you may consider purchasing the "Chart Pattern Recognition" add-in, which is very good at recognising an finding Triangles,Head & Shoulders, and Double and Triple Tops; but the best results for this software are achieved for position trades, as sometimes the Expert may recommend holding a position for as much as 80 or 90 or more bars - daily bars!
