Metastock v6.52, v7.0 and v7.01 had problems with
Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP with regards to explorations (like they
would take 10 times as long to run the exploration). This was a BUG that
Equis fixed in subsequent versions.
v7.02, v7.03, v7.2 did a lot of hard disk access
when you used a lot of your own custom indicators etc. too. This seems to
have been fixed in v8.0 & v8.01.
