Stats package for the Social Sciences.

To others that wrote ...aside from the stats stuff, one of it's major uses
is data mining and data handling. Merging existing MS / XL files into
various groupings is a snap and running "odd" variables combinations makes
being creative easy. And as I mentioned earlier, there appears to be no
limit to the "combined" file size that any of the traders might develop.
It's designed to handle enterprise sized files.

You can also run multiple batches simultaneously if you want ... so your
dual CPU machine should be able to really grind it out.<G>

SPSS runs standard Visual Basic scripts, so your coding knowledge is
portable.

You can run all this stuff as satellites your XL hub. You run your
tradeables data and your MS data into XL and then farm-it-out from there.
Once you get your system organized most of your connections can be scripted
i.e. AutoMate it <G>
