It looks like the infected attachment was cleaned at the
server level.  Viewing the attachment with Quick View
(which doesn't open the file) showed that "Antigen for
Exchange removed destined.pif since it was found to
be infected with Win32 (Norman,Sophos) virus."

A guardian angel is looking out for us.
