Answer to your 2 questions:
(1) if the onboard can be disabled?
Dell said no; it is sodded onto the motherboard and cannot be disabled;
(2) Is there an available AGP slot?
Dell also said no.
They advised me to move onto 4100 series, which is another ca$400. more. I
need to decide whether it is worthwhile to spend that extra just so I have a
movable 16mb graphic card, and also it is intel pentium 1 ghz chip.
