The problem of working with other traders is a serious one as you mentioned.
I've been working with others for some time now. Programs such as

and

will help you think about the functionality that you need to keep versions
straight. It's a problem.
If you're using Excel, paste your current emails and web sites etc onto
sheets in the current workbook version that you are working on.
If you don't do something, in 6 months you won't have a clue what all the
excitement was about. <G>
