Pardon my .02, but on occasion I have had similar memory problem ( don't
go there) I have found the following actions to be useful. 1. Many
times we have more programs running in the background than we realize.
2. To free up memory, hit Ctrl, Alt, Del once and a window will open and
show all the programs currently running in the back ground. Select all
that you do not need to be running at the moment and click the "End
task" button which will close the program and free up that memory. Do
not close "Explorer" or you will shut down. With a little experience
you will find those that can be closed. This fix is not permanent
unless you remove them from your start up.
