hello!
some days ago i bought metastock 6.5 and i would ask you if there is a
better way of importing data than the one i am currently using.
as there are no quotes services available (as far as i know) on the
internet offering quotes of the vienna stock exchange in metastock format
i have to use ascii data.
i am using some subdirectories, i. e.
\quotes\vsx\fliesshandel for stocks
\quotes\vsx\optionsscheine\aktien for options on stocks
\quotes\vsx\optionsscheine\gold for options on gold
but now i have to import data 3 times using the downloader:
convert ascii to metastock in \quotes\vsx\fliesshandel etc.
is there a way to do it in one step without putting all quotes in one
subdirectory? or is there a way to organize quotes in categories when they
are in one directory?
is there any free c or perl library (for linux) available for creating
metastock files?
