I have heard liquidty used in conjunction with the Fed's activities in
the interest rate markets. By either buying or selling treasuries they
can increase or decrease the reserves in the system. Am I somewhat
correct here? I personally don't know if this is what he(Master Blaster)
means by "flooding with liquidity". Can anybody else help? Thanks!
