The explorations are run "fresh" each day.  They do not use the previous
explorations values.  Differences in explorations between different
people is usually due to different data sets, or can also be due to
different CPU's, 486 versus 586 for example.  Most of the time it is the
data set, either the starting date used or a missing date in one set
versus the other.
