To Matt Tway,

Likely the 0's being left on the screen is due to the video driver, not
MSWin. We don't control the display, especially after you exit. To
find out, start Win95 in "safe mode"(press function key F8 when you see
"starting Windows" and then select #3, safe mode"). Run MSWin and plot
the P&F. Exit. My guess is the 0's will be gone. Get a new video
driver from the manufacturer.

Let us know more about your "illegal operations". Many things may cause
those, not the least of which may be the same video driver.

Now, don't call this a "cop out" on my part. If you were to call
Microsoft support about this type of occurrence, the first thing they
would have you do is start in safe mode to check out the video.

For the "illegal operations" you might write them down and what you were
doing and send that to support@xxxxxxxxxx

To the rest of the list:

As to posting "patches" ON THE WEB SITE. We do not do that because the
way MetaStock is compiled, it would be nearly impossible. Most of the
functionality is in the exe itself. If you have a problem, contact us
in support and if it turns out to be a "bug" that has been fixed, or a
"bug" at all, we will take care of you. We always have and we always
will.

MSWin underwent a very large Alpha and Beta test. However, as complex
as it is, with as many different possibilities a of use, some things no
one but perhaps you have ever thought of or tried, it is impossible to
find all bugs or problems. When we, or anyone else finds one and
reports it, we try and fix them.
