Harry,
Dial/Data uses esoteric symbols for indices. To confuse you
even more, the DOS Downloader uses slightly different
symbols than the Windows Downloader.
Check the web site to see if they list the MetaStock format.

For the Dow, the DOS symbol looks like: @*DWI XI
