 Hi Paul,

With Amibroker installed once, you can launch it twice to have two different instances and load EoD database in one instance and IB rela-time data in other instance.
So, you need not install Amibroker to two different directories to have different instances.

 Thanks,
 Naga Kiran

I don't know is this is a silly question.
I have one instance of AB installed, and use it alternately with two databases, for Telechart EOD and for IB real-time.

Can I install two separate instances in two separate directories to access these two databases? With two separate incons on my desktop? Will this causes problems with the registry (I'm using windows XP)?

I found this message on the same topic, but I was uncertain if the two instances described there refer to the same AB installation:

 Thanks,
 Paul
