| PureBytes Links Trading Reference Links | Hi, sorry for my ineptitude, but can someone please look at my code below and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I simply want to buy when the MACD crosses above the Signal line (on 1-minute bars) AND when the MACD Histogram is above 0 on the 5-minute bars. This code is giving me lots of buy signals when the Histogram is BELOW 0 on the 5-minute bars.
TimeFrameSet( in5Minute );
MACD2 = MACD( 9, 24 );
Signal2 = Signal( 9, 24, 9);
Histogram = MACD2-Signal2;
TimeFrameRestore();
Buy = Cross( MACD( 9, 24 ), Signal( 9, 24, 9 ))
      AND Histogram > 0;
