Try this:

Ticker = ParamStr( "Symbol", Name() );
CutoffDate = ParamDate( "Cutoff", "1/1/2007" );
InitialColor = ParamColor( "Initial Color", colorBlack );
SubsequentColor = ParamColor( "Subsequent Color", colorRed );
Colors = IIF( DateNum() < CutoffDate, InitialColor, SubsequentColor );
PlotForeign( Ticker, Ticker, Colors, ParamStyle( "Style" ) | GetPriceStyle() );
