[amibroker] Anyone knows how to read an excel cell from AFL?

My Amibroker uses IB as datafeed. However it also need to get some user 
input in realtime from the user when doing realtime automatic trading. 
I think using Excel as a proxy and as long as AFL is able to read the 
contents of a give Excel cell, my own user contral interface software 
can be writen using whatever programming language supporting DDE. So is 
there anyone ever succeeded in reading an excel cell from AFL (not 
using excel as a datafeed)?  Help is greatly appreciated.
