This is so for plugins using SERIOUS data sources like IQFeed or eSignal.

It is not the case for IB because of very limited backfill (only one symbol backfil
and throttling).

To implement symbol switching you MUST have a data source that
allows reliable and fast backfills because if symbol is unsubscribed
and then re-subscribed the data for missing period must be backfilled.
IB does not allow that because its backfill facility is severly limited and painfully slow.
So IB plugin always uses 100 symbols and the limit in the configure
is only used for limiting number of symbols in Real Time Quote window
(so you can not enter more than that in RT quote window).
