Sure - use IQFeed or eSignal as a data source.
 
Really - if you are interested in getting more data you should
subscribe to some "real" data source and then download with ease.
 
IB backfills are slower by factor of 100 (yes one hundred times slower) than real data source (what takes 5 minutes with IB
takes 3 seconds with eSignal or IQFeed).
