Hello,
It sets the maximum, so it does not matter if you have less than 10 years.
Another thing to check is:
1. go to File->Database Settings->Configure , click on "retrieve symbols"
2. Make sure that "Use only local database for this symbol" is set to "NO"
in Symbol->Information.
