I just called Customer Support at IB and asked if they now offer 6-months
of backfilled data for stocks, and they said no, only 5 days. I think you must
be talking about eSignal, which does offer 6 months of backfilled data. Using
the eSignal plugin, you can get the 6 months automatically by simply clicking
on Symbol/New, typing in the symbol, and voila, within seconds you'll get your
6-months of 1-min backfill.

Hi,
IB now provides
6mth of historical data for backfilling, however, AB
can only manage
to backfill 5 days of data each time when a chart is
opened.
Does anyone know how to get backfill data of more than 5days from
IB
through AB. (Through writing AFL perhaps?).
