Hi Tomasz,
Thanks for your offer, but I succeeded in getting AB editor to work
properly by re-installing AB -- and the cursor location data showed up in
the frame. I then proceeded to solve my problem by pasting the code in an
ascii editor (Contex), and pasting a portion into the AB editor, and
checking the format, section by section. By this means I DID locate the
parenthesis problem, corrected it and now it works great. Thanks for your
offer, and the suggestion to re-install AB.
I'm off to conquer new worlds.

- have Multi-Edit 6, but no highlight file that would help with AB (I think).
