Here's how you can do it without
programming.
2. in the enter symbols box enter your
tickers separated by a comma - click go.
3. You'll get a lost of tickers, names, etc. On the
line "View:" there are a number of links:
click
the Ticker and Name Link
do a
mouse down right before the word "Symbol" in the heading of the list and
drag it down so that all the tickers and names are selected. release the mouse
button. right mouse click ver the hightlighted part of the page and select
copy.
4. Open up a blank spreadsheet and paste the contents into it.
now save it to a file.
if you
need a script to load these into your db lemme know.

Given a symbol list is there a way to extract the full name
from Yahoo
using a script or Excel function?
I would also like to
get other information so I can fill out the
information window but full
name would do.
