Hi Graham,
I don't think I'm understanding this correctly. I want to use X% of my
current equity to calculate my Positionsize. Therefore, if my equity
last bar was $6500, I have:
size = Current Equity * 0.02;   ---- 6500 * 0.02 = $130
PositionSize = size / 40; 	---- 3.25  (will be rounded down to 3)
In my system (this is a Forex system) my next buy size will be 3 lots of
my pointvalue (be it 1000, 10000 or whatever)
Am I making sense?
Trying what you suggested above yielded no results.
Other settings in my system are:
SetBarsRequired(500,5000);
SetTradeDelays( 1, 1, 1, 1 );
SetOption( "initialequity", 5000 );
SetOption( "PriceBoundChecking", 1 );
SetOption("FuturesMode", 1 );
SetOption("MaxOpenPositions", 1);
PointValue = 10000;
MarginDeposit = 1;
Thanks,
Andrew.
