If you're concerned about processing impact, 
I don't think there's much of an impact if you load more code then you use, 
but then that depends on how much code you're talking about. 
  
  
For example I've seen a utility with 800 lines of 
code that has 10 function calls with each function being about 80 
lines of code.   All of this AFL 
is loaded with one include statement, and with 
the AFL logic you can "call"/use any one of the 
functions you'd like.
