Thomas,

Regardless of symbol (stock or currency) prices are
always stored in floating point 32-bit representation
Number of digits displayed depends only on formula
used.
For example if you use 2 in second parameter of
WriteVal you will get 2 decimal digits
if you use 4 you will get 4.

The same with printf function. Printf ("%.2f",
close ); will print 2 decimals Printf( "%.4f", close ); will print 4
decimals.

As for formulas that come with AmiBroker,
most recent beta versions have number of digits
user-definable
in Tools->Prefs->Misc
Best regards,
Tomasz

  Subject: Re: [amibroker] Digits

Hello Graham,
i would like to get the value of available
  numbers after the comma.
Some stocks are quoted with two digits like 127.46
while currencies are quoted with 2 or 4 digits like eurusd 1.2721
i would
use it for some values in the title
  line.
regards
Thomas
