I am using AB version 4.73beta dated Sept,17,2005, and the
below problems are occurring in my new computer with an AMD 64 Dual
processor and Windows XP Prox64.
I chose the new 64 bit operating system because I
understood that if I chose the 32 bit system, it could not be upgraded to the
new 64 bit system later.
When I try to EDIT>Image>send by email, it will not
do it if Outlook express happens to be open.
I then closed Outlook Express and
EDIT>Image>send by email worked.
Next, I left Outlook Express closed, used EDIT>Image>send by email
again, but this time, I left the unsent email open, while I closed the
main Outlook express program.
With the Unsent Email still open,I once again tried to
use EDIT>Image>send by email, and I got this MESSAGE>
"Outlook Express could not be started because msoe.dll could not be
initialized. OE may not be installed correctly"
An additional problem is that my active watchlists will not show up in
WORKSPACE.
My old computer is using AB version 4.70.5 dated May,23,2005, and
everything works perfectly in that computer.
Msoe.dll in the old computer is version 6.0.2900.2180 and it's size is 1.25
MB.
Msoe.dll in the new computer is version 6.0.3790.1830 and it's size is 2.04
MB.
Is these problems possibly due to the new XP Prox64 bit operating
system? Should I try installing the msoe.dll from the old
computer into the new computer?
Previously, AB help could not figure it out, but I failed to mention to
help that these problems are occurring with an AMD 64 Dual processor and Windows
XP Prox64.
All suggestions will be appreciated. Ron D
