  mentioned that was your problem and then ask for what others have done when 
  they had very long optimizations rather than ask for a solution without 
  describing the problem.
   
  As far as very long 
  optimizations go have a number of things you could do:
   
  Reduce the ranges and 
  increase the increments to get an idea of the "hot spots" and then go back 
  later and do a more "granular" approach on them.
   
  But if you really 
  need to optimize a large number of variables in a granular fashion then I 
  would suggest strongly that you look into using "IO" (Intelligent 
  Optimizer)  by Fred Tonetti.  It is in the files section on this 
  group and is a "breakthru" in optimization - but don't just jump into it and 
  start doing stuff without reading the docs very carefully.  As the IO 
  docs state - support is provided privately by sending an email to 
  Fred.
