I am using the excel to gather data but how do I retrieve information
to AB.  For example, this is the information I would like to
obtain:

 |   RESISTANCE ABOVE |
 | +3.5% at 84.94 ± 1.7, type single, strength 1 |
 |
 |

 |
 |   SUPPORT BELOW |
 | -2.8% at 79.76 ± 1.6, type double, strength 10 |
 | -9.5% at 74.28 ± 1.49, type triple, strength 10 |
 | -14.7% at 69.98 ± 1.4, type triple+, strength 10 |
 | -19.2% at 66.32 ± 1.33, type triple, strength 10 |
 | -24.5% at 61.97 ± 1.24, type double, strength 9 |

Thanks

This is an interesting feature of Excel
that I wasn't aware of.    Also, I thought that
StockConsultant had some interesting features.

When I created a web query to download the
section to which Tony is referring, I got an error saying that there was an
error in the query.  I tried requerying the data several times with the
same result.    However…

When I tried the WebQuery against the IBD
Stock Checkup page, it worked fine.   Also, I haven't tried my
solution (Internet Macros) against the StockConsultant page.  So, it may
have issues with StockConsultant also.

Is there a workaround?  Special technique?

Hi Tony,

     If you already have
excel, the New web query function in excel will download the data into a sheet
and you can automatically extract the data using lookup functions in the
program.  This can be automated by using the macro function in
excel.  This way you can build a large macro in excel to download data for
as many stocks as you wish.  There is a limit on the number of lines of
code in one excel macro but this can be by passed by have a statement at the
end of the macro that tells it to go and run the next macro.
