Subject: [amibroker] Regression Channel
Vs Linear Regression
If I use the drawing tool "Regression Channel" I get a straight line
(plus 2 channel lines) on my price chart extending as far as I drag
the indicator.
If I plot Linear Regression on the same chart, I get a
curve which
follows the price - no straight
line.
Example:
Plot(LinearReg(C,52),"LR",1,1);
The charting tool is
plotting a linear regression line. The equation is plotting only the
last point of the line. Apples and oranges. You can see this
if you use the same period for
both.Questions: 1. Why are they
different? 2. Using AFL, how can I replicate the straight line of the
Regression
