Ok, and so i should get a accoustic alert
once the price will be updated or only once a new bar is available ?
I plan to let the alert run in the
charting pane.

No, it works on charts. I use it everyday to get email
alerts.
It, of course, requires an RT datafeed to trigger
a recalc with a new piece of data. I had lots of problems getting an alert to
trigger at a certain time everyday and finally resorted to using StaticVars to
keep track of things.
