 Thanks for the info.

But I was not looking for specific formulae for the
different indicators.
I was essentially looking to understand what is
required to create my own custom indicator charts way that I can drag and drop
them like the indicator charts that come preinstalled with the software.

When I ask to look at the AFL code of built in
indicator, I only a get the segment that is relalted to plotting the
result.

Has anyone created an indicator with this charting
ability similar to the builtin indicator that they can share with the group. I
am only looking to learn how you do it and implement my own, so any sample
that helps me understand all the aspects would suffice.

An ideal example would be one that shows AFL code for
some reasonably complex indicator, along with the AFL segments that may be
needed to plot them on a chart,  in a way that I can drag and drop
them like the indicator charts that come preinstalled. With the ability to
modify some parameters like is possible with the built in
ones.

Thanks,
Sarvi

Sarvi, here is a whole page full of ADX descriptions.  Ron

    Functions - AFL code

some descriptions are available in the help screens for
some indicators. Otherwise you will need to search the web, or in some
cases they could be in the AFL Library on AB website
