from what i recal I just created an EOD database using the eSignal plugin (same as I use for RT) , data loaded automatically...10-12 years backfill of  data. It is updated in real time, as needed - no special download procedure. There is a limit to the ickers you can update, i still get a warning from eSignal now and then but don't know what triggers it.

 

I have different databases for EOD, Minute and Ticks, all eSignal.

Forgive me if this has been asked.. Yahoo search for me sucks...

I have ESignal as a datasource. How best do I get Esignal to provide
EOD  to the Amibroker database?

Lets say I have created a database and imported all the symbols. I
know would like to use Esignal to obtain all EOD history and also to
update it on a daily basis.

PS - I have the Prof version.. so I also plan on creating a new
database strictly for intraday. I would assume that is the best method ?
