There's a gotcha about AB that's caught me several times and that is... the current symbol selected

has to have enough bars in it's price history to provide the range the formula expects. Truncated equities or

short price arrays displayed in the current symbol window will cause some strange results, most

times when you're creating an ATC.  

 

But could that be it?  Or use quote editor to verify that you do have price arrays for these symbols.

I must add to Patrick's question because the code is mine.
There is one single difference between the version that works and the ones that don't. That change is about 200 lines down in the code inside a loop...a long way from where the symbols are selected.

The strange part is there are at least 10 users and all versions work for all users on their systems except Patrick's. I conclude it is something with his setup, but I've had him reinstall AB 4.60.5, run diskcheck, run cleanup database. Nothing helps. The code is VERY long, but I can post the section that selects files (it uses 2 foreign indexes).
