I have recently seen some questions about data download
speeds, so maybe this download speed timing test will help some
folks.

I just started doing a Yahoo historical download of about
7700 files starting on 01/03/1975 to 12/28/2004.
I waited till 300 files were completed, and then computed
the estimated time that it will take to finish the process.
Based on .046 minutes per file, I estimate that it will
take about 6 hours to download all of these 7700 historical files.
I have an AMD Athlon 1gigahertz processor and 768 of RAM.

Does anyone know what time amibroker gets the download for stock
data from Yahoo?  Also, what would be the best intraday source for
downloads?  I have esignal but I don't want to use it because then
I can't close it if I want to.
