Dale,

Would you please READ the quesiton before trying
  to give answers and
would you please only speak up when you know what
  you are talking about ???

First of all the quesiton was
  "has anyone used
AB with 2 instances of QT running "

So the question was about running 2 instances of
  QUOTE TRACKER not AmiBroker !

Such question should be directed to QuoteTracker
  SUPPORT support[at]quotetracker.com

  Second your statement
"Ab is architected to only have one instance would be
my guess based on how it works with automation. "

  IS
  ABSOLUTELY FALSE.

  1. AmiBroker can
be RUN IN ANY NUMBER OF INSTANCES RUNNING IN PARALLEL
and I am DOING this EVERY DAY.

  2. CreateObject() Windows API feature of
opening RUNNING instance is a MICROSOFT
  "ARCHITECTURE" not ABs.

  3. OLE Automation is not the only technique one
can talk between applications and AmiBroker
does NOT use OLE automation in most plugins
  (except TC2000 plugin).
  For example
QuoteTracker plugin uses TCP/IP HTTP connection and from AmiBroker's
  side
it is 100% possible to connect to MANY HTTP
  servers (using different TCP port)

As for whenever QuoteTracker works safely in
multiple instances - this question should be directed to:
  support[at]quotetracker.com

Best
  regards,

Hello,
The quotetracker plugin works great - I
      was wondering though, has
anyone used AB with 2 instances of QT
running (I need to split load),
and does this work? Each would have
      the http server enabled...would I
need to run 2 instances of AB, and
somehow get them linked to the
right QT server?
I obviously
don't know how this is architected - can anyone weigh in
on
      this?
Thanks much,
Chris
