Hi all,
Has anyone developed an Exploration or Scan to search a database for
what is commonly referred to as "rolling stocks"? Also known as
channeling stocks, I found a number of web sites that for a fee will
provide you data on such stocks. Basically they are stocks whose
prices cycle on a fairly consistent basis within a predictable
channel over a period of weeks and/or months. They make excellent
candidates for swing traders. Some of you may recall Wade Cook
pushed this area of trading in his hey day. I have a database of
6,000 stocks and would like to screen for such stocks with an
exploration. Any formulas or ideas will be most welcome.
