Please be aware that there IS INDEED a hijack scumware program called
“about:blank” which will take over your home page and the about:blank
screen will have a menu page directing you to all sorts of ok and not so
ok sites.
It took me many tries with various spyware removal tools to get rid of
it. A program called CWShredder was the ONLY tool that was able to
remove the version of the “about:blank” hijack code. If you are infected
with this, a google search will get you the messages you need to
step-by-step eliminate this thing.
