I've been reading the help files on creating sectors, using script. I
find them impossible to follow. I can't even figure out where the
script is supposed to be run.
Is there another way of creating sectors? I don't want separate
sectors and industries, and I've read that help section that explains
how to deal with that. I've created new broker.industries & broker.
sectors files in the Amibroker directory - that was simple enough.
And I also have the relevant stocks in a spreadsheet, grouped
according to sector. By relevant stocks I mean the top 200 australian
stocks, as this is all I trade.
I can easily create a file as described in the Help files, in the
format:
"ELM,ELINK MEDIA LIMITED,0
GCN,GOCONNECT LIMITED,0 "
but I can't figure out what to do with the resulting file. Is there a
simple way of doing this?
