Sorry another thing is that when I call setforeign then try to get variables
conditions for the foreign it still gives the condition values for the
chosen stock, not the index
I cannot put all the code here just the part. It covers various #include
files to calculate the monthrise and weekrise etc and gets a bit long
SetForeign(getbaseindex());
MIndexCond = MonthRise AND LMonthRise ;
WIndexCond = WeekRise AND LWeekRise ;
RestorePriceArrays();
The MIndexCond and WIndexCond should be those of the index, but when plotted
are actually those of the chosen share.
Cheers,
Graham

Subject: [amibroker] GetBaseIndex
Using getdatabase() I find that the Base Index for Groups takes precedence
over the Industry listing, and I assume the markets take precedence over
groups.
Is there a method for defining which base index I want to reference. Some
scans I want to reference the groups and others the industry indices.
Cheers,
Graham
