Stewart, the reason must be something else.
BTW it is ABtoolInit() not  ABinit().
ABtoolInit() clears all objects, so after this 
your
table is no more available in memory.

  I figured out the problem, it's working now. The 
  changes don't take affect unless I reload AB.
  (I thought since I'm using ABinit() that I don't 
  need to reload).
