Actually housing takes about 18.5 years,
and i am not so smart,
i looked at met life annuall report, in 2004 ,and saw that they sold all their real estate holdings in chicago,
then in 2005 they sold 1 madison ave, 25 madison ave, and 40 madison ave, in ny city,
i woke up,
sold my office bld , and shopping ctr,
then in 1/2006 they sold 200 park ave,(metlife blding) 2.4 billion dollars!!!!
thats when i sold my own home,
peak was 7/2006
add 9 years you get bottom 7/2015
my biggest mistake
bought a rental 1986
it took 10 years to break even!!!
and sold also in 2005
Ben
