RE: [RT] Spot Gold

As I write this, oil is up over $3. Seems as if the oil traders are thumbing their noses at the Senate, although I hear that the drop hit some important technical levels.

As a Canadian I’m not sure of the process, but I assume that Congress needs to pass it next.

Thanks Andrew, I assume todays action was not the desired outcome.

Does the Bush-man have to sign it as well?

It seems that the initial $6 drop in crude followed on the heels of the Senate passing the “Enron” bill.

Ira,

Thanks,  I don't trade crude though and don't make a habit of visiting sites posted in that manner.  Had you posted it here, someone may have benefited from it?

Does anyone the reason for the $6 swing yesterday in crude?  Coupled with the thought that the SPR would not be filled until CL drops below $75, very interesting re-action by crude.
