The CBOE used to have a CD titled the Index Workbench and The Options Toolbox.  It was interactive, educational software for investing and portfolio management.  I had the graphs of different options positions and spreads.  Call 1-877-THE-CBOE.  Check and see if they still have it and if it is still free.  The NYMEX used to have a good package also. I don't know if they have an 800 number.  They were always tough to do business with or get information from.

Thanks, Ira. I did look there but could not find any info for constructing a trade as in Buy...ES and hedge with ' X Puts @ ..strike, or something like that:))

Some of the best information out and better then 90% of the books is the free information offered by the exchanges.  The CBOE, CME, NYMEX and other exchanges all have free information and some have CDs available for calculating the Greeks.

I would like to use options as a hedging strategy..and would welcome any book or other suggestions about how to learn about them. Also how to use etf's as a hedge.
