Roger,
I checked and my box was not checked so should be 24 hour basis. I
attempted a market sell MKT last night on two Euros (6EU5) and once again no
fill (color stayed blue by the way?). Finally cancelled and did a limit
order LMT hitting the bid and it worked. Kind of goofy?

Hello Don,
I don't think you said whether the order was during regular
trading hours or not. but if it was outside regular trading hours you
may have your orders configured to only be live during regular trading
hours. On the IB platform look under configure/order/order defaults.
That will bring up the Default order settings page. Select Futures.
Look in the lower left part of the form there is a check box which if
checked will only trigger limit and stop orders during regular trading
hours. If not checked they will fire on a 24 hour basis.

By the way I have been experiencing the missing symbols upon startup
frequently over the past several weeks. Only solution is to restart
again which seems to fix it for that round. I am running the local on
my machine Java version of the software rather than the internet
version.
